Economic Clause Related to Gross Domestic Product (GDP)

GDP Clause 2014

Following publication of Statistics Canada data on the growth of the Québec nominal gross domestic product (GDP) on November 5, 2014, the salary scales and rates of all personnel working in the education sector will not be increased. In fact, the sum of the changes during 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 is less than the forecasts determined in the last negotiations for the same years. Here is a table (French version only) of the calculations used to arrive at that result.
